About The Authors

Terri Lyon
Through her website Life At The Intersection, Lyon spotlights the unique, creative, and sometimes surprising ways people make change happen through their activism. A licensed psychologist, her career experience includes government research, managing training at a Fortune 500 company, consulting, and almost 40 years teaching graduate students. She is the treasurer of a credit union and a professional arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau.

Trish Lockard
Trish Lockard is a nonfiction and creative nonfiction book editor and memoir writing coach. She freelances with publishing companies and has her own editorial services business, Strike The Write Tone. A long-time member of and volunteer for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), she is a certified classroom instructor for the NAMI flagship program Family-to-Family and served several years as a local affiliate president.
